Where It All Began
Hi, I’m Kas!
I was born and raised in Hawai‘i, where I was constantly surrounded by locally and family-owned businesses. Growing up in this environment shaped the way I see entrepreneurship and is the reason why supporting small businesses became the foundation of my career.
Watching founders build something meaningful for their communities inspired me from a young age and ultimately led me toward the world of marketing.
I’ve always been passionate about marketing and brand storytelling. I graduated from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas in 2021 with a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing.
After graduating, I moved back to Hawai‘i and began my career as a social media manager supporting local businesses. During this time, I worked closely with founders to help them communicate their brand more clearly online and reach new audiences.
I continued working in this field after moving to New York, where my career eventually expanded into the event industry in 2023.
Discovering a Passion for Marketing
Moving to New York was an exciting opportunity, but it was also a huge adjustment. Even after a year in the city, I still felt like something was missing.
I’ve always been someone who values family, connection, and community. Being in a new place made me realize just how important that is to me, not just in my personal life, but in everything I create.
At the same time, so much of life and business felt like it was happening online. It’s easy to stay visible, but it’s not the same as being in a room with people, having real conversations, meeting face to face, and actually feeling connected.
That’s what led me to create Social Luxe Club in 2023, a space for small business owners to come together, connect, and build real relationships in person.
A New Chapter in New York
A Gap in the Industry
While building Social Luxe Club and working closely with small business founders, I was also immersed in the brand and event space in New York. I had the opportunity to attend a range of brand events and launches, which gave me a closer look at how these experiences were being used to connect with audiences in person.
But something stood out. The brands hosting these events were almost always large companies with significant marketing budgets. Experiences like these were a natural part of their strategy, while for small businesses, they often felt out of reach.
That gap led to the creation of Social Luxe Agency, with the goal of making these types of experiences more accessible.
The Beginning of Social Luxe Agency
Social Luxe Agency was founded to help small businesses step into the world of brand experiences through thoughtfully curated events and strategic guidance.
By combining marketing insight with experiential events, we helped founders create opportunities to connect with new audiences, build visibility, and bring their brands to life in a more tangible way.
Where We Are Today
Today, we exist to help small businesses create intentional, in-person experiences with clarity and confidence.
What began as a passion for marketing, community, and storytelling has evolved into a focus on bringing brands and their communities together in real life. Through thoughtful planning and production, we help founders turn their ideas into experiences that feel aligned, well-executed, and meaningful.
Our goal has always been simple: to create opportunities for small businesses to show up, connect, and build real relationships with the people who support their brand.
Small businesses deserve spaces where their community can experience the brand, not just follow it.
